What do I need to get in the air?
New to R/C? Here is a list of everything else you will need to get in the air.
You need a minimum of 5 channel transmitter & receiver to control the craft. Four channels are used for flight and the fifth is to set the flight mode.
Option 1 is What I use:

Option 3 is a bit more costly for a non computer radio but includes an excellent flight simulator.

ITEM TWO - Battery Pack
2200-5000mAh 3 cell LiPo battery. I prefer the lighter packs even though the flight times are reduced the flight characteristics seem better the lighter you can keep the craft.
